Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking or participating in any tour, excursion or travel experience offered by Sahara Secrets Discovery.
By making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
Sahara Secrets Discovery provides desert tours, excursions and travel experiences in Morocco, including activities in and around M’Hamid El Ghizlane and the Moroccan Sahara.
Throughout these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Sahara Secrets Discovery. “You” and “traveler” refer to the person making the booking and, where applicable, the other participants included in that booking.
A booking is considered confirmed once we have accepted your reservation and any required deposit or payment has been received.
Before confirming your booking, please check carefully the tour description, dates, number of participants, included services and any specific conditions communicated to you.
The person making a booking on behalf of a group is responsible for ensuring that all participants are aware of and accept these Terms and Conditions.
Tour prices are those displayed on our website or otherwise communicated and agreed with you before booking.
A deposit may be required to confirm a reservation. The amount of the deposit, payment schedule and remaining balance will be communicated before the booking is confirmed.
Any additional services requested after confirmation may result in additional charges, which will be communicated before being accepted.
Available payment methods may vary depending on the booking and the traveler’s location.
The services included in each booking are those expressly stated in the relevant tour description or booking confirmation.
Depending on the selected experience, this may include accommodation, meals, local guides, camel trekking, 4×4 transport or other activities.
Flights, visas, travel insurance, personal expenses and any services not expressly identified as included are not included unless otherwise stated.
If you wish to change your booking, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes to dates, number of travelers, itinerary or other arrangements, but changes are subject to availability and may result in additional costs.
If you need to cancel your booking, please contact us as soon as possible.
The cancellation conditions applicable to your reservation will depend on the tour, services booked and the notice given before departure. Any applicable cancellation conditions or non-refundable amounts will be communicated as part of the booking conditions.
Where third-party services have already been booked or paid for on your behalf, amounts that cannot reasonably be recovered from those providers may not be refundable.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any mandatory consumer rights applicable under Moroccan law.
Travel in the Sahara may be affected by weather, road conditions, safety considerations or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We may therefore need to modify an itinerary, transport arrangement, activity, accommodation or schedule when reasonably necessary for operational or safety reasons.
Where a significant change is required, we will make reasonable efforts to provide a suitable alternative.
If we are unable to provide a booked tour, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to discuss the available alternatives or any refund that may be applicable.
We cannot be held responsible for failure to perform or changes caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, road closures, governmental restrictions, civil disturbances, epidemics, transport disruption or other exceptional events.
In such circumstances, we will make reasonable efforts to assist travelers and find an appropriate solution.
Desert travel can involve heat, cold, walking on uneven terrain, remote locations and limited access to medical facilities.
Travelers are responsible for considering whether the selected experience is appropriate for their health and physical condition.
If you have a medical condition, reduced mobility, allergies, dietary requirements or any circumstance that could affect your participation, please inform us before booking or as early as possible.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate individual needs where practicable but cannot guarantee that every activity or location will be suitable for every traveler.
Travelers must follow reasonable safety instructions given by guides or other members of the tour team.
Our local guides have extensive knowledge of the Sahara, its routes, environment and traditions. However, participation in outdoor and desert activities naturally involves risks that cannot be completely eliminated.
Travelers should act responsibly and inform the team immediately if they feel unwell or unable to participate safely in an activity.
We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain appropriate travel insurance before departure.
Insurance should be suitable for the activities included in the trip and, where possible, cover medical treatment, emergency assistance, cancellation, personal belongings and travel in remote areas.
Travelers are responsible for their own luggage, money, documents, electronic devices and other personal belongings during the tour.
We recommend carrying only essential valuables during desert activities.
Some parts of a trip may be provided by independent third parties, such as accommodation providers, transport companies or other local service providers.
Where third-party services are involved, their own operating conditions may also apply.
We are not responsible for acts or omissions of independent third parties except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue participation where a traveler’s conduct seriously endangers themselves, other participants, guides, local communities or property.
Travelers are expected to respect local customs, communities, the natural environment and other participants throughout the experience.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information, photographs, itineraries and prices displayed on our website are accurate.
However, desert conditions, accommodation, routes and other operational circumstances may change. Photographs are illustrative of the type of experience offered and do not necessarily guarantee an identical itinerary or setting.
Sahara Secrets Discovery will exercise reasonable care in organizing and providing the services included in your booking.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
We are not responsible for loss or damage resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, the traveler’s own actions, failure to follow reasonable safety instructions, or services independently arranged by the traveler.
Personal information provided during enquiries and bookings will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection requirements.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of Morocco.
If you have a complaint or dispute, please contact us first so that we can try to resolve the matter directly and amicably.
Nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable law.
We may update these Terms and Conditions when necessary to reflect changes to our services, booking procedures or applicable requirements.
The version published on our website at the time of booking will apply to that booking unless otherwise required by law.
